The High Court has upheld the Ivory Act 2018 ruling against Friends of Antique Cultural Treasures, a company representing antiques dealers and collectors, who launched a judicial review challenge.

This means that the Act is anticipated to come into force early next year.

Alexandra Healy QC and Racheal Muldoon will be hosting a seminar at Foundry Chambers on 23 January 2020 analysing the ban on ivory in further detail. To register your interest, please contact our head clerk, Angela May by emailing a.may@foundrychambers.com.
