Richard Jory KC trains Bar pupils in Hong Kong

Richard was selected by the Inns of Court College of Advocacy to travel to Hong Kong to join a team of international trainers in teaching advocacy to pupils as part of their formal legal qualifications. The course ran from 24-27 November and culminated in judging an assessed mock trial at the Hong Kong High Court. The course and program is overseen by Mr Justice Russell Coleman, the Senior judge in charge of the Constitutional and Administrative Law list who, among other things, is tasked with interpreting Hong Kong’s new national security laws.

Richard teaches advocacy regularly at Middle Temple, to pupils and to barristers as part of the New Practitioners Program.
