Overview

Alannah joined Foundry Chambers as a pupil in October 2026, under the supervision of James Partridge, Warwick Tatford and Zarah Dickinson.

Prior to commencing pupillage, whilst undertaking her law conversion degree, Alannah worked as a legal intern for APPEAL (Centre for Criminal Appeals). In this role she reviewed applications from prospective appellants and assisted in the preparation of potential appeal cases. Redesigning APPEAL’s case review system, Alannah was responsible for oversight of over 800 applications for assistance.

During the same period, Alannah volunteered as an Appropriate Adult supporting children and vulnerable adults in police custody in South London.

Immediately prior to pupillage, Alannah worked as a legal analyst in the disputes team of a leading global law firm on a multi-million pound commercial matter.

Alannah was introduced to rowing during her undergraduate degree, subsequently becoming a cox and Vice President of Oxford University Boat Club. When time allows, she continues to cox alumni races at home and abroad. A keen Formula 1 fan, Alannah supports Williams F1 team.
