Ryan Gordon, represented by Szilvia Booker and instructed by Jay Hussain of SJ Law, was acquitted at the Central Criminal Court, following a four-week trial, of the more serious allegations of conspiring with others to commit grievous bodily harm relating to a series of firearm incidents said by police to be linked to the defendant and his family. The case required the close scrutiny of poor-quality CCTV footage to displace assertions made by the Crown and robustly challenging the inclusion of gang membership evidence by scrutinizing the bias of the police expert witness and underlying material called by the prosecution.
