David Harounoff and Rose Slowe prosecute 8 defendants convicted of importing over 100kg of cocaine
Following a 19 week trial and three days of jury deliberation at Isleworth Crown Court, a Jury unanimously convicted all eight defendants on every count that charged them with conspiracies to import well over 100 kilograms of high purity cocaine from Jamaica over a 6 month period. The value of the cocaine that was intercepted and seized on three occasions was approximately £8.1m. There were five further successful importations. The estimated value of these consignments is a further multi million pound figure. The defendants are to be sentenced at a later date.
