Emily Lauchlan's client was acquitted on 16^th May 2024 of all counts; two allegations of Rape, one of Sexual Assault and one of Assault by Penetration dating back to 2021 when he was studying at Cardiff University.  The two trials took place at Cardiff Crown Court before HHJ Crowther. The defendant was extremely vulnerable in consequence of severe anxiety and panic attacks. Emily worked closely with him and his family, alongside Mike Prosser of M & M Solicitors over the 18 months period she was instructed and the trials taking place.
