Foundry Chambers among Speakers at Economic Crime Symposium
Jason Sugarman Q.C. and Szilvia Booker were invited to deliver a plenary workshop on Human Trafficking and Slavery at the 36th International Symposium on Economic Crime.— at Jesus College, Cambridge. The event was attended by delegates from all over the globe, representing experts, legal professionals and businesses focusing this year on unexplained wealth, and how it is pursued, prosecuted and confiscated. The event was opened by the Lord Mayor, and keynote addresses throughout the symposium are delivered by a plethora of distinguished speakers, including Lord Carlile of Berriew, Q.C., the Solicitor General, Director of HSBC Financial Crime, and investigators from the NCA, SFO, City of London Police.
