After a nine-week trial, the jury returned a Not Guilty verdict for Henrietta’s client after proceedings lasting almost four years. The trial involved an Abuse of Process argument, detailed cross-examination of the most vulnerable of victims and complex telephone and cell site evidence. Through careful analysis and rigorous requests for disclosure, the defence succeeded in exposing significant deficiencies in the police investigation.
