Foundry Chambers’ members, Mark Seymour leading Brinder Soora, have just completed the successful prosecution of 8x Defendants for Being Concerned in the Supply of Cannabis.  The case involved a sophisticated drugs trafficking operation run from the home address of 4x of the Defendants, involving the drying, packaging of multi-kg cycles of Skunk Cannabis over an extended period and the laundering of the consequent proceeds. After the 6-week trial, the jury convicted all 5x of the Defs who remained in their charge.  A re-trial is to follow.  The Defs received sentences of up to 46 months in custody.
