Mark Seymour and Brinder Soora Successfully Prosecutes Large Drugs Operation
Foundry Chambers' members, Mark Seymour leading Brinder Soora, have just completed the successful prosecution of 8x Defendants for Being Concerned in the Supply of Cannabis. The case involved a sophisticated drugs trafficking operation run from the home address of 4x of the Defendants, involving the drying, packaging of multi-kg cycles of Skunk Cannabis over an extended period and the laundering of the consequent proceeds. After the 6-week trial, the jury convicted all 5x of the Defs who remained in their charge. A re-trial is to follow. The Defs received sentences of up to 46 months in custody.
