Neil Griffin, instructed by Rasna Loi of ABV Solicitors, defended a young man with autism against four allegations of rape by two complainants who were sisters. A psychologist instructed by the defence gave evidence about the defendant's learning difficulties and other aspects of his mental health. The defendant was assisted by an intermediary during his evidence over three days. After a three week trial at Aylesbury Crown Court the jury found Neil's client not guilty of all four allegations.
