Patrick Dennis prosecuted Mazrul Alam for attempted murder at Snaresbrook Crown Court. Following a trivial row over parking outside an off licence in Broad Lane, Tottenham the defendant shot the victim from his vehicle in the chest causing life threatening injuries. The evidence consisted of CCTV, cell site material and gun shot residue evidence. The defendant claimed whilst he was present another male in his vehicle was responsible for the shooting.

The defendant was unanimously convicted after trial of one count of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. He will be sentenced on 15 July 2025.
