William Hughes QC prosecuted PC Abubakar Masum at Cardiff Crown Court for 2 offences of perverting the Couse of Justice and one offence of Computer Misuse. Masum was convicted of all offences after a trial before HHJ Fitton QC and a jury in March of this year. Masum was sentenced to a total of 3 years 6 months imprisonment on Friday 13^th May 2022.
