Kwame represented AAK, a 22-year-old man, who was accused of oral rape along with OS, a 20-year-old man.

The Crown's case was that the young men attended the Complainant's address as part of an arrangement with the father of her children. Whilst there, they were alleged to have coerced the Complainant to engage in oral sex after threatening to kidnap her children.

A number of applications were successfully made during the trial, including non-defendant bad character.  Disclosure also played an important role, particularly concerning the communication between the Complainant and the father of her children around the time of the allegation.
