Chris Harper successfully prosecuted a robbery of cash from a vulnerable victim at a cashpoint. The victim, who has learning difficulties and gave evidence with the assistance of an intermediary was attacked when alone at night. He was physically assaulted, including being jabbed with a screwdriver, and forced to a cash machine where he was made to withdraw and hand over money.

The defendant was sentenced to four and a half years in custody.
