David Smith and Natalie McNamee have recently completed the prosecution of a case arising out of a shooting at Isleworth train station on 17^th December 2018. Two defendants were convicted of attempted murder, and a third of attempted GBH, after one defendant shot the intended victim through the back window of a taxi, using a handgun fitted with a silencer, as it drove away from the train station. Two defendants were also convicted of offences involving the possession of firearms (including a Skorpian submachine gun and a sawn-off shotgun), and the supply of Class A drugs.

The convicted defendants were sentenced to a combined total of nearly 50 years’ imprisonment.
