HENRIETTA PAGET KC AND PAUL SHARKEY PROSECUTE OLD BAILEY MURDER TRIAL
Henrietta Paget KC and Paul Sharkey are prosecuting the trial at the Central Criminal Court of a man alleged to have killed a vulnerable young woman on a night out.
Zahwa Mukhtar was deaf and training to be an accountant. During a night out in London, she became involved with group which included the defendant Duane Owusu. Following a disagreement, Mr Owusu is alleged to have become angry with Ms Mukhtar and to have assaulted her causing her to fall to the ground. She sadly died due to the injuries she sustained.
