The trial of two men alleged to have killed a four year old child has been opened at Maidstone Crown Court. Following an apparent family feud, Owen Maughan and his father Patrick Maughan are said to have deliberately rammed their car at speed into a car being driven by their cousin Lovell Maughan, causing it to lose control and roll over between one and three times. The trial is scheduled to last four to five weeks.
