We are delighted to announce that Siobhan Grey KC has joined Foundry Chambers. She is a very welcome addition to the ranks of experienced and talented King’s Counsel in Chambers.

Siobhan is a criminal law specialist who exclusively defends in the most serious and complex cases. In addition to her trial work in the Crown Court she has considerable experience of the appellate courts, predominantly in the Court of Appeal but also in the Privy Council.

Since taking Silk in 2016 she has acted, in particular, in numerous cases of murder, gaining a depth of knowledge in the fields of pathology, psychiatry, DNA and blood spatter, and in relation to allegations of serious sexual offences, the latter frequently involving child witnesses and including historic allegations. She has also represented defendants in large scale drugs cases.

Prior to taking silk she had extensive experience in financial crime, including cases of various types of fraud and insider dealing.

Her recent cases have included successfully defending the alleged ringleader in a multi handed murder case involving business rivals, an attempted murder involving complex psychiatric evidence concerning paranoid schizophrenia and historic allegations of rape of a child.
