Mark Seymour Secures conviction of Def charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving

Mark Seymour prosecuting on behalf of CPS London Homicide, secured the conviction after a 2-week trial of a Def charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving.  The Prosecution case was that the Def, a Student Nurse driving home from work, had fallen asleep at the wheel, mounting the pavement and killing a 12 yr old girl.  The case involved a meticulous accumulation of phone cell site evidence showing that the Def had worked in excess of 440 hrs in the preceding month.  The Def was sentenced to 26 months’ imprisonment.
